Singaporean stocks close 0.36 pct lower

Singaporean stocks finished lower on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 11.26 points, or 0.36 percent, to close at 3,126.28.

A total of 2.67 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1.24 billion Singapore dollars (885.35 million U.S. dollars). Decliners outnumbered gainers 293 to 179.

The STI index lost 0.76 points, or 0.02 percent, to close at 3,137.54 on Tuesday. Enditem
