Int'l fashion week to open in southern Vietnam

Vietnam International Fashion Week 2017 will take place here from April 25-28, featuring over 20 shows, its organizers said Tuesday.

At the four-day event, designers from France, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Australia, Israel, South Korea, Israel, Thailand and Vietnam will showcase their latest spring-summer collections.

Vietnam's 12 leading designers will introduce collections which target mainly youths. Most well-known designer Cong Tri will not attend the event due to scheduling conflict.

Vietnam is forecast by the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association to make garment and textile export turnovers of 30 billion U.S. dollars this year. Endit
