Xinhua, April 17, 2017 Adjust font size:

Vietnam's national archery championship 2017 kicked off on Monday in southern Vinh Long province, with the participation of nearly 150 archers and coaches.

The archers from the 16 cities and provinces, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Hai Phong, Dak Lak and Dong Thap, are vying for 32 sets of medals.

Outstanding archers will either be added to Vietnam's national archery team for intensive training, or compete at regional tournaments. The most prominent archers will compete at the Southeast Asian Games 2017 in Malaysia.

The championship will end on April 23. Endit
