-- Reports that presidential hopeful Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, former chairwoman of the African Union Commission, is receiving preferential treatment have thrust her in the firing line with political parties demanding an explanation for her VIP protection. (News24)

-- The Police Ministry said if sacked Hawks boss Berning Ntlemeza tries to forcefully occupy the top office on Tuesday morning, legal action will have to be taken.

Last week the High Court in Pretoria ruled that Ntlemeza be removed immediately as the Hawks boss. Hawks is a special anti-crime unit. (Eyewitness News)
