Chinese shares fall on Monday

Chinese stocks closed lower on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.74 percent at 3,221.67 points.

The smaller Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.66 percent lower at 10,450.86 points. The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, ended 1.02 percent lower to close at 1,868.28 points. Endi
