China's five-year treasury bond futures opened lower on Monday, with the contract for settlement in June 2017 opening 0.11 percent lower at 98.76 yuan (about 14.35 U.S. dollars).

The contract for settlement in September 2017 opened 0.11 percent lower at 98.27 yuan. The contract for settlement in December 2017 had opened 0.03 percent lower at 97.92 yuan.
