NATO commander in Afghanistan John Nicolson said here on Friday that the timing of using a Massive Ordnance Air Blast (MOAB) bomb was not related to outside events.

NEW DELHI -- The Indian Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) in charge of education has ordered an investigation into a school textbook that described feminine proportions of 36"-24"-36" as "the best," officials said Friday.
The ministry's action comes in response to a sexist passage from a textbook on Health and Physical Education describing physical and anatomical differences between male and female bodies and underlined the "best" body shapes. (India-Textbook)

ISLAMABAD -- The Urdu language edition of the book "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China" was launched here on Friday and the launching ceremony was attended by around 300 Pakistani and Chinese officials, academicians and researchers.

JAKARTA -- Rescuers on Friday evacuated the body Rio Pasaribu, the pilot of a cargo plane that crashed into a mountain on Wednesday in Papua province, easternmost of Indonesia, spokesman of national search and rescue office Marsudi said.
