Iran to play friendlies with Senegal in run for FIFA U-20 World Cup

Iran's national under-20 soccer team will play two friendly fixtures against Senegal as a part of preparations for the FIFA U-20 World Cup, according to a state TV report on Friday.

The matches will be held in the Iranian capital of Tehran on May 7 and May 10, the Football Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran said.

Iran has been drawn with Costa Rica, Portugal and Zambia in Group C of FIFA U-20 World Cup.

The 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup, the 21st edition of the tournament, will be hosted by South Korea between May 20 and June 11. Endit
