About 16 Shiite Houthi fighters and four pro-government soldiers were killed during armed confrontations in southwestern Yemen within the past 24 hours, an army commander told Xinhua.
The army source said on condition of anonymity that "pro-government forces supported by UAE armored vehicles and warplanes made ground advances and controlled several positions during the fighting with Houthis in the eastern part of the Red Sea coast city of Mocha." (Yemen-Houthi-UAE)

WASHINGTON -- U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that his administration won't label China as currency manipulator, and complained that the U.S. dollar is too strong.
In an interview with Wall Street Journal on Wednesday, Trump said "they (China) are not currency manipulators," according to the report. (U.S.-China-Currency)

BERLIN -- Two claims have been found for the responsibility for Tuesday night's attack on a Borussia Dortmund (BVB) team bus.
The German Federal Prosecutor's Office in Karlsruhe has been investigating the attack on the bus. Three explosive devices went off, placed by the side of the road, next to the bus transporting the football players to the match against AS Monaco. (Berlin-BVB-Attack)

N'DJAMENA -- An attack on a convoy of prisoners on Wednesday morning in Chadian capital N'Djamena killed nine prisoners and one security guard, the country's chief prosecutor said.
