Trial regulation released on CPC working organs

Xinhua, April 12, 2017 Adjust font size:

The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has released a trial regulation on CPC working organs, calling for stricter discipline and improvements to their work.

Working organs of CPC committees at various levels should better perform their duties and carry out Party policies, according to the regulation made public on Wednesday.

CPC working organs should be supervised by CPC committees and report on their work at least once a year, the regulation said. Party committees should also check regularly on their performance.

Decision-making should be based on processes including investigation, solicitation of public opinion, professional evaluation and group discussion, said the regulation.

It also called for efficient mechanisms to ensure that decisions are fully implemented, and gave detailed descriptions of the duties of each working organ.

The trial regulation took effect on March 1. Endi
