French shares drop 0.11 pct

The French stock market index, the CAC 40, dropped 0.11 percent, or 5.59 points, and closed at 5,101.86 points on Tuesday.

Of the 40 selected large companies, 22 suffered losses in the day.

Nokia tumbled 1.71 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. Valeol was down 1.63 percent. Air Liquide lost 1.25 percent.

Meanwhile, Vinci rose 1.72 percent, the top gainer of the day, followed by Michelin which was up 0.67 percent and Essilor, with a rise of 0.58 percent. Endit
