Xinhua News Agency ready to expand cooperation with DPA

Xinhua News Agency President Cai Mingzhao on Tuesday met Peter Kropsch, president and CEO of DPA (Deutsche Presse-Agentur), the German news agency.

Cai hailed the long-term friendly cooperation between the two agencies.

As exchanges between China and Germany develop, Cai hoped that Xinhua and DPA could explore more areas for cooperation, so both sides could contribute more to the development of bilateral ties.

Cai spoke about the innovative achievements Xinhua has made, adding Xinhua is willing to enhance cooperation with DPA in the sectors of photo, new media and video.

Kropsch recalled the history of cooperation between the two news agencies.

He said exchanges and cooperation will help improve mutual understanding between the two people, and DPA is ready to enhance cooperation with Xinhua under the new media environment. Endi
