State Council reshuffles officials

The State Council announced the appointment and removal of several senior officials Tuesday.

Li Baorong was named deputy secretary-general of the State Council.

Wang Yonghong was appointed deputy head of the National Government Offices Administration, with Shang Xiaoting removed from the post.

Peng Jiarui was appointed commander of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, with Liu Xinqi removed from the post.

Yin Hejun was removed as vice minister of science and technology, and Wang Xiaoping was removed as deputy director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council.

Ji Xiaonan and Xun Huanzhong no longer perform as chairpersons of the Board of Supervisors for Key Large-Sized State-Owned Enterprises. Endi
