Ruins of Guge Kingdom in Tibet

A powerful kingdom with a splendid civilization was born at this location over 1,300 years ago. Located in Zhada County, Tibet, the Guge Kingdom was a prosperous kingdom during 10th century - 16th centuries. Covering an area of 180,000 square meters, it has over 600 buildings, including houses, Buddhist towers and caves. [China.org.cn]
