The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 111 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Monday morning, rising slightly from levels seen overnight in New York at the end of last week.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 111.22-23 yen compared with 111.00-10 yen in New York and 110.60-62 yen at 5 p.m. local time on Friday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0581-0581 dollars and 117.69-73 yen against 1.0587-0597 dollars and 117.60-70 yen in New York and 1.0635-0637 dollars and 117.62-66 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
