British stocks rise 0.63 percent Friday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Friday rose by 0.63 percent, or 46.17 points, to 7,349.37 points.

Share price of Randgold Resources increased by 4.29 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Standard Life, J Sainsbury, Burberry Group and Tesco increased by 3.63 percent, 2.91 percent, 2.66 percent and 2.43 percent respectively.

easyJet led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 1.60 percent, following by Lloyds Banking Group (0.90 percent), Shire(0.89 percent), Hikma Pharmaceuticals (0.79 percent) and Anglo American(0.76 percent). Endit
