-- On Thursday evening U.S. President Donald Trump ordered an air attack on the Syrian Air Force base Al-Shairat. "There is no doubt that Syria has used banned chemical weapons," Trump said in a brief speech.

-- A survey by the German Bertelsmann Foundation shows that refugees are no longer so welcome. The "well developed welcome culture" must be supported, because there are warning signals, stated the experts of Bertelsmann Foundation.

-- The German export rose surprisingly in February on account of the better global economy. Exports grew by 0.8 percent on the previous month, and totalled 102.3 billion euros. It represented an increase of 3.1 percent compared with February 2016, the German Statistical Office said on Friday. Endit
