An American tourist, about 50 years old, was stabbed to death by a homeless man in a Paris suburb on Thursday, French newspaper Le Figaro reported.

The tourist lost her life in Montreuil, a city in the French department of Seine-Saint-Denis, in Paris suburb. The victim was stabbed six times around 5 p.m. local time on Thursday, the report said.

The killer was arrested near the scene of the crime, according to the report. Endit
