Egypt condemns deadly attacks in Syria's Idlib

Egypt's Foreign Ministry condemned on Wednesday the deadly attacks in the Syrian province of Idlib which killed and injured dozens of civilians, the ministry said in a press statement.

"We strongly condemn the random bombardment of Khan Sheikhoun village in Idlib which killed and injured tens of civilians, including children," the ministry said in a press statement.

The ministry stressed the importance of supporting the political settlement of the Syrian crisis in line with international resolutions with the UN Security Council Resolution No. 2254 on top of them.

On Tuesday, media reports said about dozens were killed and more than 200 were wounded in a toxic gas attack in Khan Sheikhoun. Endit
