Colombia's President Juan Manuel Santos confirmed Monday that the death toll from Saturday's landslide in Mocoa had increased to 262, including 43 children.

ST. PETERSBURG -- Russian Health Minister Veronika Skvortsova said at least 10 people had been killed and 37 others were injured in an explosion of an unknown explosive device with destructive elements in St. Petersburg.

JOHANNESBURG -- A 6.5 magnitude earthquake was registered in the northwest of Botswana capital Gaborone at 7:40 p.m. on Monday.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake struck at a depth of 11 kilometers in a relatively remote region of Botswana, which is about 230 kilometers northwest to the capital. (Botswana-Earthquake)

SRINAGAR, Indian-controlled Kashmir -- At least three people including an infant girl were killed and seven others injured Monday after being hit by a landslide in Indian-controlled Kashmir, police said.
