Danish FM says to "stand with Russian people" after St. Petersburg explosion

Danish Foreign Minister Anders Samuelsen said on Monday that the news of St. Petersbourg explosion was "horrible" and Denmark will stand with the Russian people.

Through his twitter post, Samuelsen expressed condolences to the victims and their families.

"Horrible news from Saint Petersbourg today...We will stand with the Russian people," said the foreign minister.

Danish Prime Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen also expressed his shock over the incident and expressed his condolences to the victims through twitter.

"Terrible news about explosion in Saint Petersburg Metro. My thoughts are with the victims and their families," said Rasmussen who is on a state visit to Mexico.

At least 10 people have been reportedly killed and 50 others injured after two subway stations were hit by explosions with destructive elements in the Russian city of St. Petersburg. Endit
