GHAZNI, Afghanistan -- Four security personnel were killed after their vehicle came under attack in the eastern Ghazni province on Monday, a security official said.
"The deputy to National Directorate of Security (NDS) for Paktika province, Abdul Wahab along with three others were killed after militants targeted their vehicle in Sultan Bagh area of Ghazni in the wee hours of Monday," the official told Xinhua but declined to be named. WELLINGTON -- A New Zealand farming couple have taken the world record for the highest yielding crop of wheat, it was announced Monday.
Eric and Maxine Watson entered the Guinness World Records after producing 16.791 tons of wheat per hectare, beating the previous record of 16.519 tons set by a British farmer in 2015. (New Zealand-Wheat)

BANGKOK -- Nine policemen were injured by gunmen at a road checkpoint in southernmost Thailand on Monday, police said.
