1st LD: Militants ambush kills 4 security personnel in E. Afghan province

Four security personnel were killed after their vehicle came under attack in the eastern Ghazni province on Monday, a security official said.

"The deputy to National Directorate of Security (NDS) for Paktika province, Abdul Wahab along with three others were killed after militants targeted their vehicle in Sultan Bagh area of Ghazni in the wee hours of Monday," the official told Xinhua but declined to be named.

The official said authorized officials would talk to media after completion of investigation.

Meanwhile, Zabihullah Majahid who claims to speak for the Taliban outfit claimed responsibility and said in a comment posted on his twitter on Monday that Taliban attack against a vehicle in Ghazni province had killed six persons including Abdul Wahab, the deputy for NDS in the eastern Paktika province.
