Hong Kong stocks close 0.78 pct lower

Hong Kong stocks closed down 189.5 points, or 0.78 percent, to 24,111.59 points on Friday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 24,105.38 and 24,329.98. Turnover totaled 73.66 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 9.48 billion U.S. dollars). Endit
