British stocks close flat Thursday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Thursday decreased by 0.06 percent, or 4.20 points, to 7,369.52 points.

Share price of Antofagasta increased by 2.94 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Ashtead Group, InterContinental Hotels Group, Anglo American and Smurfit Kappa Group increased by 2.44 percent, 2.34 percent, 2.27 percent and 2.21 percent respectively.

Mediclinic International led the top losers of the blue chips, with a share price drop of 3.00 percent, followed by Associated British Foods (2.04 percent), BT Group (1.66 percent), Land Securities Group (1.63 percent) and SSE (1.55 percent). Endit
