China's economic growth in 2016 outpaced most other economies and accounted for more than 30 percent of global growth, according to a government work report available to the media on Sunday.

China's GDP expanded by 6.7 percent last year to 74.4 trillion yuan (about 10.8 trillion U.S. dollars), said the report to be delivered by Premier Li Keqiang at the opening ceremony of the annual session of China's top legislature, the National People's Congress. Endi
