U.S. stocks rise amid Yellen speech

U.S. stocks ended higher after wavering between small gains and losses Friday, as Wall Street digested remarks from Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen.

Yellen said that the Fed was likely to raise its benchmark interest rate this month.

The Dow edged up 0.01 percent, and the S&P 500 added 0.05 percent, while the Nasdaq increased 0.16 percent. Endit
