China to donate mobile cinemas to Armenia

The National Cinema Center of Armenia will receive four mobile movie theaters from China, the Armenian Culture Ministry said Wednesday.

The mobile cinemas will be used in a nationwide project called "Cultural Stop."

The Armenian film industry was once booming during the Soviet times. Since the country's independence in 1991, this sector has been struggling and a number of new films have been made only recently amid a surge in the popularity of modern films in Armenia. Endi
