Paris CAC 40 index up 0.28 pct

The French stock market index, the CAC 40, gained 0.28 percent and closed at 4,858.58 points on Tuesday.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed higher on Tuesday, up 13.40 points, with 21 of the 40 selected companies experiencing increase.

The top three gainers were Safran, 2.11 percent, Carrefour, up 1.46 percent, and Airbus Group, up 1.42 percent.

The three companies whose stock prices dropped the most were Arcelormittal, down 1.22 percent, Technipfmc, down 0.67 percent, and Kering, down 0.54 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 ended almost unchanged to close at 4,845.18 points, down 0.06 points. Endit
