BiH's top power utility achieves record revenue in 2016

Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH)'s top power utility Elektroprivreda BiH (EP BiH) achieved record revenues last year, local media reported on Tuesday.

According to the report, EP BiH's revenue amounted to 1.03 billion convertible marks (560 million U.S. dollars) in 2016, registering a year-on-year increase of 5.0 percent.

For the first time in EP BiH's recent history, prices for end buyers of electricity on 110 kV, 35 kV and 10 kV networks, other consumption and public lighting were reduced in 2016.

Apart from preserving the position of the largest producer and supplier of electricity in BiH, EP BiH has maintained the status of one of the largest investors in BiH as well. (1 U.S. dollar = about 1.84 convertible marks) Endit
