At least 117 people have died due to heavy rains that have been received in Zimbabwe in recent months while 106 others have been injured by lightning, the Civil Protection Unit (CPU) said Monday.

BERLIN -- Police here on Tuesday banned the mosque known as "Fussilet 33 e.V." which is believed to have links with extremists.

LOS ANGELES -- At least three people were killed and two others injured after a small plane crashed into a residential neighborhood in Riverside, California, on Monday.

ISLAMABAD -- A 6.0-magnitude earthquake hit parts of Pakistan Tuesday evening, local meteorological office said.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department said on its website that the tremor, which hit the country at 6:42 p.m. local time (1342 GMT), originated from Tajikistan with a depth of 10 km. (Pakistan-Earthquake)
