British FTSE 100 rises 0.13 pct on Monday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Monday rose by 0.13 percent, or 9.30 points, to 7,253.00 points.

Share price of Bunzl increased by 3.14 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. CRH, Unilever, BHP Billiton and Anglo American increased by 2.89 percent, 1.54 percent, 1.34 percent and 1.28 percent respectively.

Direct Line Insurance Group led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 7.16 percent, following by Fresnillo (2.56 percent), Admiral Group (2.46 percent), Royal Bank of Scotland Group (2.02 percent) and Intu Properties (1.64 percent). Endit
