MiG-29 aircraft catches fire during routine flights in Belarus

The engine of a MiG-29 aircraft caught fire during routine flights at the Bobruisky airfield in Belarus on Thursday, the Belarusian Defense Ministry said.

Local media said the pilot was forced to eject. No one was hurt. The plane has not left the grounds of the aerodrome.

As a result of the competent actions of the pilot and the head of flight negative consequences were averted, the ministry said. Enditem
