Urgent: Yao Ming to sell his shares in Shanghai Sharks before next season

Yao Ming, the newly-elected Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) president, said here Thursday that he would sell his shares in the CBA side Shanghai Sharks before next season.

The Chinese basketball legend, who played for the Shanghai Sharks before he went to NBA in 2002, bought the team in 2009. Since then, Yao has been the controling share holder of the Shanghai Sharks which finished third in the regular season this year. Enditem
