Xinhua, February 22, 2017 Adjust font size:

The United Nations Mission in Liberia on Tuesday local time honored a team of Chinese peacekeepers for their outstanding performance, according to China's Ministry of Public Security.

A total of 140 Chinese policemen, the fourth Chinese police riot squad sent to Liberia since Sept. 2013, were awarded UN Peace Medals in a ceremony held in the Liberian capital Monrovia.

The squad left China in March 2016 for a one-year mission, and was tasked with maintaining security and order in Monrovia. Endi
