Spanish stock market falls 0.57 pct, closes at 9,500 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.57 percent on Friday to close at 9,500 points, down from the 9,554.70 points of Thursday.

Share values were up 1.3 percent in the week as a whole with the Spanish risk premium falling by 10 points in five days, from the 139 points of Monday to the 129 points of Friday closing time.

Meanwhile, Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.64 percent on Friday, falling from the 1.79 percent of Monday.

On Friday session, Repsol shares led falls losing 1.94 percent, followed by Mapfre, Bankinter, Caixabank, Banco Santander and Tecnicas Reunidas that lost 1.70 percent, 1.67 percent, 1.32 percent, 1.29 percent and 1.28 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Viscofan shares led rises climbing 2.93 percent, followed by Cellnex, IAG, Grifols, Amadeus and Banco Popular that rose 2.14 percent, 1.11 percent, 0.91 percent, 0.85 percent and 0.84 percent respectively. Endit
