Average monthly salary in BiH up 0.9 pct year-on-year in 2016

The average monthly net salary in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in 2016 amounted to 838 KM (455 U.S. dollars), registering a year-on-year increase of 0.9 percent, local media reported on Friday.

According to data from BiH Agency for Statistics, the average monthly net salary in BiH in December 2016 amounted to 853 KM, which represented a nominal increase of 1.3 percent compared to the same month in 2015.

The average gross salary in BiH in December 2016 amounted to 1,325 KM, up nominally 1.3 percent year-on-year. (1 U.S. dollar = 1.84 KM) Endit
