China's treasury bond futures closed lower on Tuesday, with the contract for settlement in March 2017 down 0.21 percent at 99.3 yuan (about 14.43 U.S. dollars).

The June 2017 contract closed 0.11 percent lower at 98.2 yuan. The September 2017 contract closed 0.17 percent lower at 97.4 yuan.

The treasury bond futures were launched at the Shanghai-based China Financial Futures Exchange and started trading on Sept. 6, 2013. Endi
