MAPUTO -- Mozambican police authorities said on Monday that three people were killed by thunder lightning strikes during the rains last week in northern Nampula province.

GENEVA -- The Office of the UN Special Envoy for Syria announced Monday that a new round of intra-Syrian peace talks are scheduled to kick off on Feb. 23, with rival delegations expected to arrive in the Swiss city "on or about Feb. 20."
