Indonesia targets 6 male shuttlers to be among world's top 20

Xinhua, February 9, 2017 Adjust font size:

Indonesian badminton association has set a target of making six male shuttlers in the world's top 20, coach Hendry Saputra disclosed on Thursday.

Among the seven men's singles shutlers under the national training camp, only one player has been included into world's top 20, Saputra admitted.

The coach revealed that Jonathan now ranks 19th in the world.

"This year, I want all of them included into the world's top 20. I am optimistic on it," he said in the association website. Endite
