Brexit bill to be voted by House of Commons

The Brexit bill which gives the British government the power to begin the formal process of leaving the European Union will be voted Wednesday night by the House of Commons.

It will be the final stages in the Commons before the bill is handed to the House of Lords.

Members of the Parliament have debated amendments to the bill and a final vote is set at 20:00 GMT when the bill goes to its third and final reading in the Commons.

Once the bill passes the Commons, it will be debated in the House of Lords after the chamber returns from recess on Feb. 20. Endit
