Chinese president appoints new ambassadors

Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed two new ambassadors, upon approval by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, according to a statement by the national legislature.

Yang Zigang was appointed ambassador to Eritrea, replacing Qiu Xuejun.

Rao Hongwei was appointed ambassador to Rwanda, replacing Pan Hejun. Endit
