The Following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Friday.

--A cornerstone was laid by Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn for the construction of Bure agro-processing industrial park in Amhara regional state.

In order to attain Ethiopia's plan to shift from agriculture-led economy to an industrial one, works are in progress to create sustainable and strong bond between the agricultural and industrial sectors, the prime minister said. (Fana Broadcasting Corporate/FBC)

--Representatives of women from across the country are expected to held discussion with Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn in connection to International Women's Day.

The discussion will be focused on involvement and benefits of women in the overall socio-economic development of the country, the Ethiopian Ministry of Women and Children's Affairs told ENA. (Ethiopian News Agency/ENA)

--Ethiopian State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Aklilu Hailemichael, met with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco, Mrs. Nezha Alaoui M'Hammdi on Thursday.
