British FTSE 100 decreases 0.27 pct

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Monday decreased by 0.27 percent, or 19.33 points, to 7,099.15 points.

Share price of Randgold Resources increased by 2.66 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. London Stock Exchange Group, Anglo American, Fresnillo and BHP Billiton increased by 2.29 percent, 1.88 percent, 1.75 percent and 1.55 percent respectively.

Tesco led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 5.79 percent, following by Barclays (4.84 percent), Royal Bank of Scotland Group (4.31 percent), International Consolidated Airlines Group (4.26 percent) and Legal & General Group (3.65 percent). Endit
