Lithuanian poultry allowed to Japanese market

Japan opened on Friday its market to Lithuanian poultry.

According to the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry, Japanese institutions informed that as of Jan. 27, Lithuanian producers are allowed to export poultry and their products to Japan.

From January to November in 2016, Lithuania's exports to Japan reached 117.75 million euros (125.77 millio U.S. dollars), growing almost three times, compared to the same period in 2015, according to the ministry. Endit
