Paris CAC 40 index falls 0.56 pct Friday

French stock market index, the CAC 40, dropped 0.56 percent and closed at 4,839.98 points on Friday.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed lower on Friday, down 27.26 points, with 32 of the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease.

The top three gainers were Accor, up 0.79 percent, Publicis Groupe, up 0.77 percent, and Essilor Intl., up 0.74 percent.

The three companies whose stocked dropped most were LVMH, down 1.89 percent, Renault, down 1.53 percent, and Engie S.A., down 1.45 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 dropped by 0.21 percent to close at 4,867.24 points on Thursday, down 10.43 points. Enditem
