Czech president sends best wishes for Chinese Lunar New Year

Czech President Milos Zeman on Wednesday evening invited reporter of the China Central Television (CCTV) to pass his best wishes for the Chinese Lunar New Year.

Zeman said the coming Chinese New Year is the Year of Fire Rooster, the year of strength, hard work and success. He would like to pay best regards to his friend Chinese President Xi Jinping and to all Chinese people. And he wishes all the successes in this year and not only in this year, but also in the next years.

"I firmly hope that the long term projects, like new silk road, or in other words, one road one belt, will be fulfilled under the wise leadership of President Xi, because what we need are long term successful projects, and I firmly hopes that Chinese people and its standard of living will grow and stability of China's society will be successful, all the bests to China's friends and good luck for you all." Zeman said.

This year's Spring Festival, or Chinese Lunar New Year, falls on Saturday. Enditem
