Indonesian badminton association (PBSI) will give opportunity to the country's junior shuttlers to vie in the Asia mixed team championship in Vietnam next month, team manager said on Thursday.

The championship is scheduled to take place from February 14 to 19 in Ho Chi Minh city, according to Lius Pongoh, manager of Indonesian team.

"Based on the PBSI's policy, we want to opportunity to young players, giving them opportunity to prove their skill," Lius said on the association website.

The manager disclosed that the association has set a target of victory at the championship.

"If we see the capability of the players, the minimal target is entering the semifinals, but we want to be champion," said Lius. Endit
