Liaoning claims fourth straight Chinese basketball league win

Last season's runners-up Liaoning claimed their fourth straight win after beating Qingdao 113-100 in the 31st round action of the 2016-2017 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Tuesday.
Liaoning led the game from the first quarter with Lester Hudson and Shavlik Randolph combining for 45 points and 13 rebounds. Guo Ailun earned 23 points and Zhao Jiwei had 16 points.
Dominique Jones and Loukas Mavrokefalidis scored 46 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for Qingdao.
Zhou Qi and Andray Blatche helped second-placed Xinjiang beat leaders Shanghai 109-95. Zhou earned team-high 21 points and 16 rebounds, Darius Adams had 21 points and Andray Blatche added 20 points and 20 rebounds.
Guerschon Yabusele had 30 points and Jimmer Fredette 25 points for Shanghai.
In Tuesday's other games, Bayi downed Jilin 97-87, Shandong beat Shenzhen 117-106, Guangzhou lost to Beijing 76-86, Tianjin defeated Guangdong 132-122, Guangsha smashed Tongxi 107-92, Sichuan edged Fujian 115-111, Jiangsu beat Aolong 115-109, Zhejing overpowered Shanxi 114-99. Endit
