Liaoning take revenge on Sichuan in CBA 29th round

With Lester Hudson's game-high 34 points, Liaoning beat Sichuan 96-85 in revenge for the loss in last season's finals in the 29th round of the 2016-2017 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) action here on Friday.

It was the second meet since last season's finals as Liaoning overwhelmed Sichuan 99-91 in the 10th round. Liaoning's reverence was attributed to their solid performance on defense, especially in the second half Sichuan only scored 39 points. Although five players scored double-digits, the visiting team suffering their second straight lost.

Hudson finished with a game-high 34 points while the defending champion's Meng Da scored 17 points. Hudson's teammate Shavlik Randolph added a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds.

Shanghai hammered Fujian 119-93 for the second time this season. The league leader made an amazing opening with 13-3 at home and clinched the victory in the end. Jimmer Fredette and Guerschon Yabusele combined for 59 points and 22 rebounds. Fujian's Wang Zhelin was benched for injury for a whole time.

Elsewhere on Friday, Xinjiang crushed Jilin 135-113 at home, Beijing defeated Tongxi 116-94, Aolong tamed Zhejiang 103-92. Endit
